Every client is unique and the process of therapy is different for everyone. My approach varies with the needs of my clients. Always at the heart of my practice is listening carefully and maintaining a stance of curiosity with the goal of trying to understand my client’s unique experience in the world. I provide a safe, non-judgmental environment where dialogue and the process of reflection and exploration allow for insight and growth to develop.

I believe that the most important factor of successful treatment is not theory or technique but the quality of the relationship between the client and therapist. I work collaboratively with a warm, empathic, down-to-earth style that helps individuals feel comfortable and supported. I am especially understanding and successful with individuals dealing with loneliness, depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, creative block and addiction.
