Angela Garbin, LMFT, is a psychotherapist in private practice in Los Angeles. This is her second career as she worked as a film/video editor for twelve years in New York City. In 2007, Angela moved to Hollywood and eventually returned to school to pursue an interest she had acquired when she began treatment in her mid-twenties. In 2010, Angela obtained her Masters in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute in 2016.
In addition to her private practice, Angela leads Early Recovery and Relapse Prevention Groups at Matrix Institute on Addictions. Prior to that she worked in Community Mental Health for 6 years. She has success treating individuals from various ethnic, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
Angela sees adults, adolescents and couples. She has a diverse clientele and treats a broad range of issues, including extensive experience working with people in creative fields. Her office is in Silver Lake.
