Every client is unique and the process of therapy is different for everyone. My approach varies with the needs of my clients.
Always at the heart of my practice is listening carefully and maintaining a stance of curiosity with the goal of trying to understand my client’s unique experience in the world. I provide a safe, non-judgmental environment where dialogue and the process of reflection and exploration allow for insight and growth to develop.
I believe that the most important factor of successful treatment is not theory or technique but the quality of the relationship between the client and therapist. I work collaboratively with a warm, empathic, down-to-earth style that helps individuals feel comfortable and supported. I am especially understanding and successful with individuals dealing with loneliness, depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, creative block and addiction.
Choosing a therapist can be difficult and finding the right fit challenging. The best way to determine if I might be the right therapist for you is to set-up a consultation. Personal experience has shown me the many benefits of therapy, including symptom relief, greater self-awareness, self-acceptance, higher quality relationships, and a more engaging and connected life.

THERAPY
I provide high quality psychotherapy for adults, couples, and adolescents.
I accept PPO insurance plans as an out of network provider. When calling your insurance company, you may want to ask these questions:
1. Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
2. What percentage of my bill will be paid for services obtained from an out-of-network provider?
3. How many sessions will be covered per calendar year?
4. What is my deductible and has it been met?
CONSULTING FOR FILM & TELEVISION PROJECTS
Drawing from my experience in both the fields of psychology and the entertainment industry, I enjoy consulting on film and television projects to help writers, directors and actors better navigate and accurately portray mental illness. Consulting fees vary depending on the project’s budget.
